The ongoing ‘win an iPad’ campaign has reached its midpoint with a third draw to announce further three winners, bringing the current total to nine since its inception on 1st March, 2014.
Much like the two previous draws, this week’s winners will all be rewarded with the latest version of the Apple iPad Mini.
On her remarks during the third week draw of the promotion, company’s Head of Marketing, Linda Chiza, said that for a new customer to get the chance to win an iPad he/she needs to purchase either a Smile MiFi or Wi-Fi router from any of Smile’s shops or kiosks.
“Alternatively, new customers can also bring any 4G LTE compatible device, that they have to any of Smile’s shops or kiosks, and they can purchase a SIM card with 3GB of data to get connected to Smile’s superfast, super-reliable broadband internet service and participate in the draws,” she said.
Winners who worn iPads this week are Richard Sawere from Dar es Salaam, Glio Hau Wang from Dar es Salaam and Lambert Ndimaita from Arusha.
The campaign began on 1st March, 2014 and runs through to 31st March, 2014 with weekly draws, being held and supervised by the Gaming Board of Tanzania. The venues for the draw locations and the winners’ names will be published on the Smile website and social media pages.
The promotion is open to residents in Dar es Salaam and Arusha, these being the cities where Smile currently has coverage.
Customers walking into any of Smile’s shops or kiosks during the month of March and purchasing any of the smile’s devices will be required to fill in a coupon, which will then be entered into the weekly draws.
The lucky draw results will be announced every Monday, with the final week’s draw taking place on Tuesday, 1st April, 2014. Winners will be contacted directly via the mobile phone numbers they provided on entry.
“All participants need to ensure that they are available during business hours on the weekly draw dates to avoid unreachable numbers being disqualified,” Ms. Chiza said.
